Silex offers two types of printing services; inkjet printing, which allows inline printing. particularly suitable for extruded articles (e.g. tubing, cord, strip), and pad printing, which lends itself well to individual items such as mouldings.
Logos, text or colourful designs are just some of the printing options available.

Inkjet Printing
Inkjet printing is a low-cost silicone printing method, available on extruded articles such as tubing or strip. The optimum width for the printed surface is 5-6mm, making it suitable for repeated text or logos.
Inkjet printing is available in black only, and uses a non-silicone based ink.
Pad Printing
Pad printing lends itself well to individual items such as mouldings, but can also work well with extruded articles. This method has no colour limitations, and can work with designs up to 110mm diameter. Pad printing uses silicone-based inks that are cured onto the silicone, giving them excellent wear characteristics.
A small set-up fee applies to pad printing services.
