Metal Detectable Silicone Sheet
Metal detectable silicone rubber sheet, 60° shore A hardness. MVQ Metal Detectable sheeting allows fragments of failed seals and gaskets to be found safely and isolated.
Popular in many food processing and pharmaceutical applications for its FDA approval (making it suitable for direct food contact) and the ability to detect foreign particles in products easily.
This sheeting has good damping and mechanical properties, flexibility and elasticity and good resistance to high and low temperature (-60°C to 200°C).
MVQ metal detectable sheet also has excellent resistance to mildew and funghi, and resistance to UV ageing.
This sheeting is supplied in 1.2m x 1m sheets in thicknesses from 1mm to 6mm.
